Hunan attaches great importance to the development of the green building materials industry, listing building materials and prefabricated buildings as one of the 22 industrial clusters promoted by provincial leaders, and concentrating resources to support industrial development. Hunan has successively been approved as the country's first "National Assembled Building Technology Innovation Base" and the first batch of pilot provinces for the construction of steel structure prefabricated housing, forming a green building material product system dominated by prefabricated building materials such as prefabricated components and steel components for steel structure housing, and products such as cement, ready-mixed concrete, ready-mixed mortar, masonry materials, and building waterproofing. A total of 232 enterprises in the province have passed green building material certification (evaluation), There are 1056 certified (evaluated) products, ranking among the top in the country.
